UPM-Kymmene Corporation is a Finland-based paper and forest products company. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (UPM1V) fell 3.9 percent to 12.18 euros. UBS AG lowered Europe's second-largest papermaker to sell from neutral. The brokerage said that demand for the company's product will not recover in Europe and that the industry will probably reduce its capacity next year.

The owner of bakery brands including Delice de France and Otis Spunkmeyer posted full-year revenue of 4.5 billion euros ($6.1 billion), beating analysts' estimates of 4.43 billion euros. The company also forecast a double-digit percentage gain in 2014 earnings.
